The harmonic minor scale is another important scale in Western music, especially in classical, jazz, and metal genres. It is known for its exotic and dramatic sound due to its augmented second interval. Like the melodic minor scale, the harmonic minor scale has seven modes, each with its unique flavor and characteristics.

1. Aeolian â™®7 (Harmonic Minor)
